Didn't fully close and now stuck closed and cannot open.
I also bought this thing from Barnes & Noble, and calling this thing a puzzle is a bit of a stretch... it's just one sliding opening, and that's it. All the grooves and notches are glued in place fooling you to think that it could be some sort of fun puzzle, but it's not. Then once you do decided to put cash in there and slam it shut, it's near impossible to open without great finger strength. Do not get good product!
I bought two of these at $20 a piece from barnes and noble. They are so tight the only option is going to be to break them open. There’s no puzzle about it. I may as well have nailed a wooden box closed. Was going to give these to two kids but my fingers are black and blue from trying to reopen.
I made the mistake of tapping it shut before loading cash into it, thinking I'd be able to re-open it.... That was a mistake since the groove it so tight. I should have sanded it so it closed properly and didn't seal itself shut.
After sanding the ridges down that are below the grips it worked ok. Prior to sanding, the box didn't close. I should get paid for finishing the assembly.
