Perfect quick strategy for two

“My spouse and I have been looking for a quick strategy game to play while we listen to our audiobooks together. Nothing too complex because we’ll miss the plot of the story. Nothing too simple because we’ll get bored. Nothing that requires too much talking because again, it’ll take away from the story. And nothing that works alright for two players but is much better with 3 or 4. We’d been playing uno which was fine, but not engaging enough.

This game fits our needs perfectly.

Not only does it look gorgeous, but it only took a few minutes to learn and the games last about 5-10 mins max. It’s infinitely replayable because of the randomness of the first roll and it’s a great mix of skill/strategy and luck. We own literally dozens of games and this is the one I feel like we’ll be coming back to the most often. Now to find some more books to read as we play…“
